Project Overview

EPPH was initially engaged to develop a budget for a project that was subsequently funded through the CIF program. Despite a limited design timeframe, EPPH successfully advanced the project from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 4 technical and installation. Throughout the project, EPPH collaborated closely with the client consultant to ensure comprehensive requirements were captured and addressed, including revisions to the design to accommodate additional heating zones and AHUs.

Key Deliverables

• Design and Installation: Replaced existing boilers, flues, pumps, and pipework. Designed and installed a new prefabricated LLH and a PHE.
• Mechanical Ventilation: Installed new mechanical ventilation systems, bases, doors, ramps, flue systems, BEMS, pumps, FODRVs, a gas train, and connections to new direct-fired gas hot water units.
• Commissioning: Conducted third-party independent commissioning to ensure accurate flow rates and measurements.
• BMS Integration: Coordinated with the client’s BMS provider to integrate the new systems.
• Project Management: Managed a tight project timeline and ensured effective team organization.

The project involved the replacement of existing equipment, installation of new systems, and integration with the client’s BMS.
