Our EPPH Drainage team recently completed a targeted drainage repair project for one of our clients, following a comprehensive CCTV drainage survey of their facility.

The survey identified a grade 5 structural defect (a severely damaged section of 100mm vitrified clay pipe, with fractures and a missing crown) serving a security hut and located 1.7m beneath the main site entrance. Traditional excavation would have been both costly and highly disruptive to site operations.

Instead, EPPH to carry out the recommended No-Dig repair using ambient cure resin-impregnated point repair liners.

Our engineers:

• Performed a confined space entry via the access chamber

• Used high-pressure water jetting to clean and prepare the pipe

• Installed the remote point repair directly at the damaged section

All works were completed within a single day, while the site remained fully operational, resulting in a cost-effective, minimally disruptive, and structurally sound repair.
