Charities of the Year 2025

Our chosen charities of the year this year are Suffolk Mind and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). These incredible charities are close to us at EPPH, and we are dedicated to supporting the vital work they do for mental health and children’s hospice care in our community.

Having raised almost £10,000 for Suffolk Mind and EACH in the last year, we have seen the real difference and impact that they make to individuals and families in need. We would like to exceed that this year by continuing our commitment this year with a range of fundraising events, including our upcoming charity golf day, an event designed to bring people together in support of these great causes.

Social Initiative of the Year

At EPPH, we believe in creating opportunities for young talent and creating the next generation of skilled professionals. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce The Family Business as our Social Initiative of the Year for 2026!

Through this partnership, we’re dedicated to providing young people with the support, experience, and opportunities they need to launch successful careers. Our commitments for 2026 include:

  • Meaningful Work Experience Placements – Hands-on opportunities that equip students with real world skills.

  • Mock Interview Experiences – Young Adults from the family business will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to have an interview, gaining an insight into the real world.

  • Support at Multiple Events Throughout the Year – Where we will share industry insights and educate young professionals on the industry.

EPPH are proud to continue our support of The Family Business into 2026/27 and are looking forward to another year. It’s great to see the impact the initiative is making in developing young talent across the industry.

Suffolk New College – Industry Partner

EPPH are extremely proud to support the Get Into Construction careers event at Lofty Heights. Working alongside event partners, we were pleased to engage with enthusiastic young adults and provide insight into career pathways within the construction industry.

Events like this play an important role in helping individuals raise their aspirations, develop employability skills, and gain a better understanding of opportunities available within the sector. They also allow employers to promote skills, training, and employment pathways in a meaningful and accessible way.

EPPH Proud Members of The 5% Club

EPPH are proud members of The 5% Club, members aspire to achieve 5% of their workforce in earn and learn positions (including apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formalised training schemes).

During 22/23 & 23/24 EPPH averaged 12% of our workforce in these roles, hugely outperforming the construction industry. We firmly believe in staff training and investment of our people.  Our exceptional number of apprentices, alongside our significant training programmes helps really demonstrate that we really “walk the walk”.

EPPH Supports Suffolk New College Careers Day

EPPH was delighted to contribute to Suffolk New College’s careers day as an Industry Partner, where we engaged with enthusiastic students exploring opportunities within the construction industry. Its was a genuine pleasure to see so many young adults show such high levels of interest to get into the industry.

EPPH Partners With Lofty Heights

EPPH have donated plumbing and electrical goods to Lofty Heights for their new skills academy which encourages young people to learn a trade, it helps them become more confident in the construction environment by allowing them to get hands on in a classroom environment first.

EPPH’s First Ever Charity Golf Day!

In 2025, EPPH was proud to host our first ever Charity Golf Day. The event was a fantastic success, with multiple teams taking part and raising an incredible £2,000 for our chosen charities of the year, EACH and Suffolk Mind.

The support, generosity, and great team spirit shown throughout the day made it one to remember, and we are already looking ahead to making it even bigger and better.

Plans are underway for our 2026 Charity Golf Day, so keep an eye out for our announcement in the coming months for your chance to enter a team and get involved.
