Project Overview:
This project involves an energy efficient upgrade in London, marking a major step towards sustainability! This project focused on removing all gas appliances and replacing them with cleaner, more efficient alternatives.
Key Deliverables:
- Removed 2 gas boilers & 4 direct water heaters
- Installed 4 Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pumps, 4 indirect calorifiers, and 4 electric boilers
- Completed LTHW, DHW & MCW pipework installation
- Electrical installation & BMS controls (off-site build)
- Purged and capped the entire building’s gas supply, making it fully redundant
- Installed trace heating, thermal insulation & water treatment
Summary:
Gas has now been completely removed, and with renewable technology in place, this upgrade significantly reduces the building’s carbon footprint while enhancing efficiency.
