We are proud to announce the successful completion of an energy-efficient upgrade in London, marking a significant step towards sustainability. This project involved the complete removal of gas appliances and the installation of cleaner, more efficient alternatives, reinforcing our commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable technology.
This project consisted of the removal of two gas boilers and four direct water heaters, replaced with four Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pumps, four indirect calorifiers, and four electric boilers. Our team completed the LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water), DHW (Domestic Hot Water), and MCW (Mains Cold Water) pipework installation, alongside an off-site built electrical installation and Building Management System (BMS) controls. The entire building’s gas supply was purged and capped, making it fully redundant. Additionally, we installed trace heating, thermal insulation, and water treatment to enhance efficiency and longevity.
With gas completely removed from the building, this upgrade significantly reduces carbon emissions while enhancing operational efficiency. By integrating renewable technology, we have helped future-proof the site and contribute to a more sustainable future.
