Building Success: The Evolution of EPPH from Local Plumbing Company to Industry Leader
EPPH was founded in 2012, formed as a local plumbing and heating company specialising in renewables. Basing its foundations on strong customer service and building long lasting relationships, allowing the company to continually expand and advance through determination and perseverance of a valuable team.

With the continued growth, we are delighted to have opened a new Northern office in Durham. As we have expanded and added key members of staff it has allowed us to move into other areas as well as plumbing and heating, with services now offered across a range of sectors such as air conditioning, drainage and FM. EPPH now offer a full range of building services commercially across the country with 60+ engineers on the road daily.
EPPH’s Road to Carbon Positive.
At EPPH we have ambitions plans on our road to being a carbon positive business. We have laid out a clear road map to achieve our goals and week by week we are doing all we can to reduce our own carbon footprint whilst helping our clients reduce theirs. EPPH’s goal is to be Net Zero in operation by 2040 and Carbon Positive in 2050, this is significantly earlier than the government’s own deadlines and we look forward to sharing our progress along the way.
Renewable energy for our offices
In 2024 we we converted both our offices to verified renewable energy suppliers as part of plan to reduce our scope 2 emissions. Whilst our current office emissions are small we believe its vital to move to a more sustainable future as quick as we possible to start making a difference to our overall impact!
Solar installation at our HQ
We are excited to announce the installation of a Solar PV system at our headquarters that will begin in 2025. This a significant step towards enhancing our sustainability efforts and reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy sources. We will be converting our office to full electric as part of this transition completely decommissioning our gas boiler too.
Achieving 100% reduction in Scope 2 emissions
By 2026, at the very latest, we want to reduce our scope 2 emissions 100%. We will convert both our offices to full electric via certified renewables suppliers and supplemented by our own energy generation.
Carbon Neutral
By 2030 we are committed to becoming carbon neutral means offsetting all our carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy and sustainable practices, thereby reducing our net environmental impact to zero. During the next 6 years we are pushing to convert as many of our fleet as practically possible to electric as part of this drive as these currently make up a large part of emissions. We will also be working closely with our supply chain in scope 3 for significant reductions along the way.
Net Zero
By 2040 Our mission is to achieve net zero in operation. The key is balancing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted with an equivalent amount removed from the atmosphere, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. Our expertise in installations in this sector will allow us to move at pace towards our ambitious goals.
Carbon Positive
By 2050 we have the ambitious goal of become carbon positive business! This means actively removing more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than is emitted, thus making a positive contribution to mitigating climate change and promoting environmental stewardship. At EPPH just meeting expectations is never enough, that is why we are striving to exceed government and clients net zero ambitions!
