Boiler Upgrade

Overview

EPPH successfully delivered a boiler upgrade project, providing a modern, high-efficiency heating solution tailored to the site’s operational requirements. The works were carried out in-house by the Projects team and involved the removal and replacement of legacy plant with a fully integrated system, designed to improve performance, reliability, and long-term efficiency.

Key Deliverables

• Removal of existing Ideal Concord Super Series boilers and associated flue systems
• Installation of four Ideal Imax Xtra 2 boilers with integrated shunt pumps
• Installation of a new combined flue system in line with current standards
• Upgrades to LTHW pipework, including a plate heat exchanger and magnetic filtration
• Installation of condensate pipework and system protection measures, including chemical dosing
• Gas system isolation and targeted upgrades in compliance with current regulations
• BMS modifications for full system integration, control, and performance
• Full commissioning, testing, and certification upon completion
