Overview

This project involves the complete overhaul of the sanitary and water supply systems in a building, encompassing both new and existing areas. The primary focus is on the installation of new above-ground drainage systems, domestic water supply lines, and sanitary fixtures in the kitchens, cleaners’ areas, and toilet blocks.

Key Deliverables

Drainage System

• Installation of new above-ground drainage pipes to serve the kitchens and cleaners’ area. 
• Connection of the new drainage system to the existing infrastructure.
• Installation of a commercial Saniflo pump. 

Water Supply

• Extension of the existing boosted water supply from the ground floor unit to new outlets in the kitchens and cleaners’ area.
• Connection of sinks to the water supply lines.
• Insulation of all pipework.
• Supply and installation of four under-sink unvented water heaters with safety kits. 

Sanitary Fixtures & Fittings 

• Supply and installation of an Ideal Standard Cleaners sink with a bucket grid and taps.
• Extension of hot and cold water supplies to the new sinks in the male toilets.
• Installation of a 15mm isolated cold water supply adjacent future drainage connection.

Toilet Blocks

• Isolation, disconnection, and removal of existing sanitary ware and hot water heaters in preparation for building alterations.
• Modification of pipework to accommodate new layouts.
• Installation of a Cistermiser sensorzone water controller with PIR to conserve water in toilet blocks.
• Installation of flow restrictors at all outlets.
• Supply and installation of sanitary fixtures, including toilet pans, concealed cisterns, flush plates, ambulant toilets, grab rails, TMVs, urinals, urinal cisterns, spreaders, urinal controls, and basin mixers.
• Installation of a 30L Heatrae Multipoint Eco vertical unvented water heater in each toilet block.
• Supply and installation of a 150L direct hot water cylinder with a Grundfos HW pump and thermal balancing valves.
