Project Overview:This project involves the installation of a ground source heat pump (GSHP) system to provide heating and hot water for a residential property. The project includes the removal of existing heating systems, the installation of the GSHP and associated components, and the installation of new heating and plumbing systems.

Key Deliverables:

• System Removal: Disconnection and removal of existing heating and water systems.
• GSHP Installation: Installation of the GSHP unit, slinkies, buffer tank, hot water cylinder, water softener, and other plant room equipment.
• Pipework Installation: Installation of pre-insulated pipework connecting the plant room to the property, including trenching and backfilling.
• Heating System Installation: Installation of radiators, valves, and pipework for the heating system.
• Hot and Cold Water Installation: Installation of hot and cold water pipes, fittings, and sanitary ware.
• Drainage Installation: Installation of PVC above-ground drainage and vent pipes.
• Testing and Commissioning: Testing and commissioning of all systems, including the GSHP, heating system, and plumbing.
• Documentation: Provision of operation and maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.
• Certification: Obtaining MCS certification for the renewable energy installation.
